Education

Special Education Inclusion.

Special education inclusion signifies the participation of special education students in the regular education classroom and the provision of support services to these students. The main objective of inclusion education is that all students at school, regardless of their strength and their weaknesses in any area, become part of the school community. Every student develops feelings of having students, teachers, and other supporting staff. In separate special education, children will not learn how to function in a non-defective world. For example, children who are disabled in terms of communication and emotionally depressed will not communicate and may remain in a more emotional situation in separate settings. Federal individuals with disabilities of the Education Act (IDE) declared mandatory for schools to educate children with disabilities in the General Education classroom.

The main advantage of special educational inclusion is that students who are disabled and non-defective are united in the togetherness environment. Children learn to accept individual differences in inclusion education and this will lead to the development of new friendship relations. Inclusion education also allows active participation of parents in their children’s education. The law also stated that students with disabilities have legal rights to attend regular classes and receive appropriate education in the environment that least limit. Despite the benefits of many, inclusion education creates uncertainty about the roles and responsibilities of regular class teachers and special education teachers. However, research shows that inclusion education can be effective by healthy collaboration of special education teachers and regular teachers. With the help of services to be available from the Ministry of Health, the Department of Physical Education, occupational therapists, speech therapists, etc., School administration can help teachers to develop active lesson plans for education. Thus the school can create a cooperative learning environment and promote socialization.
